The painting was first exhibited in Como as by Ferdinand van Kessel I and by the studio of Jan Brueghel II. After inspection of the original Dr. Klaus Ertz has changed that attribution into Jan Brueghel II, assisted by Ferdinand van Kessel I. From the second exhibition onwards our painting was exhibited and published as by Jan Brueghel II. If necessary Dr. Ertz will put this attribution into writing.

With certificate by Prof-Dr. Jan De Maere.
