The attribution has been confirmed by Dr. Fred G. Meijer, 30/09/20.
He dates the painting circa 1640.
Provenance : Gallery Jacques Leegenhoek Paris, until 2/10/20.
Subsequently private collection France.
Christiaan Vogelaer, former curator Old Masters at the Lakenhal Museum in Leiden, has asked our painting for the Bailly exhibition in 2023.
